Hi everyone,

After last week, I realized that I really want to change the way I approach making music.

Constantly searching through presets and sounds during the creative process was starting to take me out of the creative flow, so this week I decided to change a few things.

I reduced my presets down to the absolute core, only keeping the ones that genuinely inspire me or feel truly useful — and I started giving them proper names.

So instead of something like “BA_MonsterPreset,” I now have names like “BA_Rolling_Dark_Center”

And yep, I have to say, it really helped. Finding the right sounds became much faster and the whole process felt very different. Sure, there’s still a lot of room for improvement, but it was honestly a really refreshing experience.

So yeah, this track is basically the result of that little experiment smile

Here’s my entry for this week — hope you like it smile

Have a nice day smile

Cheers

KaZu

P.S. As always, I’m really grateful for any constructive feedback, opinions, and so on smile

Nice job organising, giving a present to your future self there. I’m impressed with the final mix, all the elements are crisp and present with clear separation, great work

Hi mate,

thanks for your kind words! smile

Yeah, reducing and organizing my presets turned out to be a really good decision in the end, even though it was (and still is) a ton of work.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the track! smile
